Worship Leaders

Nick Herbert

Nick is a London-based worship leader and songwriter. He is part of the Worship Central team and works for St Stephen’s, Twickenham. Originally from Birmingham, Nick moved to London to study fine art and went straight out of University to be a full time worship leader at St Paul’s Anglican fellowship (later to become St Mary’s Bryanston Square) where he worked for over ten years.

During that time his passion for songwriting grew and he has now become an established songwriter with Integrity music. He has written with Martin Smith (‘God’s Great Dance Floor’, ‘Back to the Start’), Tim Hughes (‘Counting on your Name’, ‘Jesus Saves’), Ben Cantelon (‘Everything in Colour’, ‘New Day’) and Brenton Brown (‘Our God Is Mercy’).

Nick has led worship in Germany, Austria and across the U.S. as well as at UK events Spring Harvest and New Wine for the last five years. He is passionate about seeing encounter in worship – and not just that we sing a few songs together!
