Our God is a supernatural God. His power and strength are not of this world. He is Almighty, Omnipotent, and Everlasting! When Jesus walked the earth, He carried the fullness of God's power and nature. Time after time, He performed miracles and did the impossible before the eyes of man.
One miracle that comes to mind is when He raised Lazarus from the dead. What looked like a hopeless situation suddenly turned into a miracle moment. Jesus called forth a dead man out of the grave and he rose. I wonder at the amazement people felt when they saw this miracle happen. I wonder how it changed their understanding of God's power and what is possible through Jesus.
I think there's something inside of us that longs to see the miraculous. I believe it's actually written into our very DNA. We were created to see the works of God with our own eyes and to tell of His goodness. There is something inside of us that desires to be amazed, captivated and in awe. That is our innate God-desire. Only He can fulfill it.
Can you think of a time in your life where you witnessed a miracle? Can you think of a miracle you are praying for? Remember that there is nothing that is impossible for Him who believes. God is able to perform miracles through you and me. Our job is to step out in faith, pray in accordance with His will, and believe. God loves to show up and show Himself good!
Is there anything too difficult for the Lord? He is the One who spoke the galaxies into existence. It was His voice that calmed the stormy sea of Galilee. His hands are able to hold us through every circumstance.
Take time to write down some miracles you are praying for. Ask the Lord to show you who can partner with you in prayer and agree for that miracle.
