If You've Never Wondered Why We Sing, Isn't It Time You Did?

Lent reminds us of the good things we have here on earth, but how often do you wonder why we’re here in the first place?

Psalm 104:31-35 gives some answers…

May the glory of the Lord endure for ever;
may the Lord rejoice in his works –
he who looks at the earth, and it trembles,
who touches the mountains, and they smoke.
I will sing to the Lord all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
May my meditation be pleasing to him,
as I rejoice in the Lord.
But may sinners vanish from the earth
and the wicked be no more.
Praise the Lord, my soul.
Praise the Lord.

Why are we here? Why do we sing? It’s about so much more than us, isn’t it?

So what if we let that sink in deep today? What would we do differently knowing that the only opinion of our actions that matters is God’s alone?
